Your question is somewhat vague. I use both Windows 10 and MS Office and have no display issues with either product. Granted, right out of the box you might have to adjust the GPU/graphics card's settings and resolution (along with the monitor settings) to your liking. I did have to make some slight settings changes to the scaling of the GPU output with the monitor since this is a UDH display. But nothing weird, difficult or out of the ordinary. Scaling and resolution are subjective to one's personal liking.

By default, Windows is setting my monitor to scale to 150%, while my laptop screen defaults to 250%. Even though the laptop is scaled to 250%, everything is smaller then on the monitor. I changed the monitor to 200% and it still looks fine, just really big, but all in proportion. My laptop is an HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15" with a 4k screen and I'm connected to the monitor with HDMI straight out of my laptop (no adapters) and had the monitor set as an extension of my laptop screen.
