• If you are looking for great sound you should plan on getting a sound bar - and those vary in quality. The TV's clarity is poor to put it mildly. Most TV's today are so thin there is no space for good quality speakers. So expect to spend 250 on up for external sound bar

• Adequate... if you are looking for a decent movie watching experience, you'd probably be better off with soundbar or a 5.1 system.
