• yes remote is not so great, but not bad, i am using Bluetooth mouse to counter it.

• I agree. The remote control is very small and the 4 way central "joy stick" is not prominently marked or at least superimposed size wise making it hard to find it with feel while watching TV in the dark. I supplemented my controls with a wireless Logitech mouse and keyboard.

• I believe you won't have any problem once you figured out and set all the settings as it should. Our family is a non handbook people, so we just found everything works well after we do all the settings .. hope that helps :)
