• According to the ops manual and the mode selection ... the 40 inch Samsung TV will work with a TV antenna.

• If it is an HD roof antenna it should work via coaxial antenna connection.

• Yes. It has a standard coax input with a built in OTA HD tuner.

• You must have internet to get your smart tv working. If you have it, it will work just fine!
