There is a digital optical out on the rear of the TV. It is facing out of the rear of the TV so flush mounting to a wall will be a little difficult. Also, the optical output only sends 5.1 surround out from the apps and the OTA TV tuner. It only passes stereo sound from devices connected via HDMI.
