“I have this tv and just got samsung sound bar. But there's absolutely nothing in the instructions to link it to my TV remote. I asked here if this was possible and was told it's compatible. I need some sort of link to do that or I'm returning this”

The sound bar is most likely compatible with your tv by way of the optical audio out port on the tv. However, this doesnt mean you will be able to control the sound bar with the tv remote. You may need to use the sound bar remote to control the sound bar itself.
