“I'm trying to buy a TV for my 82 year old mom. Does this TV have the old type of cable input? I think it's called a coaxial cable? Also, is the remote fairly simple to use? She just needs to be able to turn it on & off, and switch channels. Thanks so much”

The VCRs and old DVD players use an RCA cable (which has red and white plugs for audio and a yellow one for video linked together on a single cable) and this TV has one of those in the back. I played a VHS tape and it works. It even improves the quality! The remote is reasonable. The print is large on most of the buttons, especially the VOL and CH rocker switches. There's a big red on/ off button on the upper left . I think mom will be fine.

If she is a button pusher, she may wind up in the sub menus or the app bar. I really have no complaints about the tv and I'm not sure if it does have a coaxial in cause I have to use a box.
