Does this Samsung need a soundbar? null

no but that would be a personal preference.

This television needs much more than a sound bar it needs to be re-conformed so that it is not too heavy! Purchased this television to replace an LG that had been on a 20 inch dresser for 8 years and after 10 days it was so top heavy while getting something out of dresser it fell forward knocked me in head, I had huge gash and broke screen and even though I purchased the protection plan no one would do anything so I’m paying for a television that I left after only owning 10 days in the service department at Best Buy ! So I don’t recommend anything about this TV!
