how far apart are the feet for the stand? null

As already answered, the maximum width of the feet is a little under 40". Tony2222 has an unusual perspective. This is a very popular model, although I think that most people buy the larger sizes (55. 60, 65"). I get no motion defects in movies played from regular or UHD Blu Ray disks at 24 FPS. Maybe there'd be problems with movies from other sources.

Front of legs are 36 inches. Back of legs are 39 1/2 inches. Id pass on the tv. Quite a few issues programming to each type of program. I.E. Blurs when watching movies.... when adjust and it needs to be switched for sports. I think they just got a little fancy. I actually watch my tv that I paid half as much for 5 years ago more.
