They're not twins. The KU7000 is more of an entry-level UHD/HDR set. It's sort of the high end of the low end sets. (It has a wider color gamut than a KU6300.) The KS8000 is basically the low end of the high end (SUHD) sets. The KS8000 is certified ultra premium HDR set, which (among other things) means that it can produce an illuminance (brightness) above 1000 nits. (Samsung calls this HDR1000.) The KU7000 peaks at around 400. The KS8000 has a 120 Hz native refresh rate. KU7000, 60 Hz. Only you can decide whether the KS8000 is worth $300 more than the KU7000 (today's prices).
