That depends. How is your receiver connected to your current TV? The KS8000 has no analog outputs. It has a Toslink (optical) output for sound, and it also supports ARC (audio return channel) HDMI. (It also does Bluetooth, but I haven't heard of anyone connecting to a receiver that way.) ARC is normally used as a two-way communication between the receiver and the TV, but it won't work for 4k unless the receiver passes that. I have read that it can be used to send audio (only) from the TV to the receiver.
