“Does samsung offer a center stand for this tv? its the only thing preventing me from buying this because of space restraints. the legs would hang over my current tv stand”

I had this issue and bought a piece of oak. stained and placed on current stand and it hangs over a bit, but works great. Plus it gives some extra shelving area

Not so far as I know. It can be wall-mounted (400 X 400 mm), and there are stands that can use that (rather than mounting to the wall).I suppose that's not what you are looking for, though. The KS9500 has a center stand, but the TV is curved, the smallest size available is a 55", and it's much more expensive than a UN49KS8000.
