“At rear of my (always shaded) 55" Terrace TV I hear a "CONTINUOUSLY RUNNING" fan sound 24X7 whether TV is turned On or Off. Sound goes away only if I unplug the TV. Won't a "CONTINUOUSLY RUNNING" fan (even when TV is Off) cause premature fan failure?”

You said you just purchased a Terrace TV that does not have this fan noise 24X7 problem. But you returned a TV from a different manufacturer that did have this issue. Was the TV that had this fan problem and you returned a Samsung Terrace TV or another brand TV?
