What do you mean by "DirecTV ready"? Do you mean if you can watch DirecTV on it? Yes, you can watch DirecTV on any TV with a HDMI input. All flat panels have a HDMI input. Additionally, this TV will sync with your DirecTV box to allow the smart remote to control your DirecTV. I tried it and didn't care for it as the smart remote lacks the buttons of the DirecTV remote.
