Customers regard the 60" Class LED 4K Ultra HD Smart TV very favorably, particularly praising its picture quality and ease of use. Many also appreciate the smart TV features, the user-friendly remote, and the affordable price. While some users noted limitations in motion rate and viewing angle, the positive feedback on other aspects significantly outweighs these concerns.

Nice Pic, nice colors, very E-Z installation, looks great but I have one problem. I do not want the mount the TV on the wall. I purchased the Samsung K-450 Sound Bar. The Sound Bar does no fit under the TV. The TV stand is not tall enough to host the the Sound Bar. This is a problem for me. I do not understand Samsung engineers dot not test this product. I wish Samsung can ship me a different stand to solve my problem.

I reviewed a number of TV's. Read consumer reports and went to more than a few stores before purchasing. I learned a lot about the gimmicks behind refresh rate numbers (anything over 60hz is software imaging tricks, not an actual refresh rate) and a few other technology items. I mainly watch HD TV channels and Netflix. This TV has a great picture, and there a lot of settings to customize the view. The user interface is super easy and intuitive. This was a recommended item on consumer reports as well. I turned off the "soap opera affect" for my viewing preference, but the TV will smooth video very well. The TV is great for live sports, colors are well defined. Blacks and whites look pure. I can watch at night with no lights on and during the day with window shades wide open and still have a great viewing experience.
It is true, that in the store, a more expensive product may look better, but when you are away from the other items you will not feel like this is an inferior product. I have this in a large room and even from 20' feet away in the adjoining kitchen, I can see a quality picture.
On a side note, I have not purchased my surround sound yet and the TV sound is decent. Voices are clear and it gets loud enough to fill a large room.

I am a loyal Samsung purchaser and this model met expectations and more.
I purchased a Sharp 75" Aquios psudo 4K model for a movie room, but this Samsung 60" model way outperforms the sharp or any other 4k I have seen in this price range. This model is not even the top end Samsung, but the resolution is incredible.
PROS
* You can immediately see the different by viewing some YouTube 4K videos. You will be blown away
* The smart TV is really easy to use
* The TV is smart enough to automatically turn on when any device sends it a signal. I don't need to use the TV remote.
* Clearer and sharper than any TV I have ever owned. I previously had 3 Samsung 1080, and 1 x 75" Sharp Aquios
CONS
* I had to call my Direct TV provider to make sure the 4K signal was passing through.
* The online price was lower than in the store. However, the sales associate honored the price without an issue

As a reformed early adopter, I was hesitant about entering the 4K television market despite the industry's strong initial support. I was pleasantly surprised that pricing was very competitive with traditional HDTVs and Best Buy's selection was tremendous.
The remote is simple and uncluttered, leaving nothing save back-lighting to be desired. The picture quality is absolutely amazing. Even without true 4K source material there is detail and a sense of depth. Inputs are adequate, far better than the last hi def set I purchased, and the overall package is svelte and stylish for such a large screen.
This is a great television for those ready to take the 4K plunge. In my opinion, having read what I could before finally buying, this is THE bargain in its class and gives up little to higher priced offerings.

Overall, this has been a great purchase. We purchased on Black Friday, which meant we bought it with $400 off regular pricing. This was a great price to pay for this TV - it is SO SMART! It connects to everything that we have (Apple TV & Samsung Surround Sound System). I can touch my apple remote and it will turn on my TV and automatically turn it to the HDMI channel that the Apple TV is plugged into. I can also use my apple tv remote to control the volume (which is not new, but still a nice feature). The quality of the picture is great and the sound is awesome. Our previous TV was pretty quiet for being in the living room/kitchen where lots of noise can be made (it would often have to be put to max level). LOVE this TV.

FOR BEST PICTURE QUALITY, CALIBRATION REQUIRED!! good picture achieved After online calibration setting search. otherwise don't expect good preset video settings out of box. as expected this Samsung delivers good pictures quality and reliability (we own 3 Samsung LCD, and all still going strong). avoided internet connecting as to avoid Samsung monitoring internet usage (use roku2 for streaming). TV upscales 1080p to decent UHD levels, the best is seen through blu ray player. OTA tv signal produces good image quality, plus is the onscreen channel guide. the minimalist remote control is great once you get use to it, plus is the universal capability. This TV does however inherit like most samsungs, the wash out effect when not in the center sweet spot. the wash out is most noticeable on sides and when viewing from a lower angle eg: TV mounted on wall, sitting on lower sofa. Also turn off ""Auto motion" to avoid the dreaded soap opera effect.

So we went from a 50 plasma that was 10 years old, severe image burn and just really grainy picture to 4K. I purchased the Vizio 60" first but was really disappointed so we spent the extra to upgrade. This TV has blown me away. The smart functions are great and faster to navigate than with our Apple Tv. The Tv also comes with a smart remote and it was very easy to automatically control our dvr. With a small black remote, I purchased a second one online however when you pair the new one, the old one is disconnected so only 1 remote works at a time. I love how watching everything feels new, even season 1 of friends feels like you are in the set watching them film. My only critique is we had deeper blacks with our plasma.

I'm very satisfied with the purchase. I got it for $699 the same day the price was lowered. Comparable televisions at this price don't do HDR and do not look better than this one. The Samsung connect app works great with this TV. Setup was very easy and quick.

First things first, I'm a plasma tv guy through and through but my three year old 50" Samsung plasma tv started to get a flicker and since they don't make plasma TV's anymore, I got this tv. I purchased this 60" tv on sale at a great price, got it home, set it up with the stand to see if I was going o keep it before I wall mounted it and I was immediately impressed. After four weeks I am a little less impressed but I'll go over that in the pros and cons.
A little info before pros and cons:
My use for this tv is probably split 50/50 between playing PS4 and viewing tv/movies/streaming Netflix and Amazon prime. My internet is hard wired to the tv with a cat6. I use a vizio 5.1 soundbar connected via optical cable. Tv is wall mounted.
PROS:
The other reviews are correct about the built in speakers, they sound great. I use a vizio 5.1 sound bar so that's not exactly a huge plus for me but they do sound good!
Picture is beautiful for this price point.
My PS4 games look amazing!
Pretty happy with the smart apps although I only really use YouTube, Netflix and Amazon prime movies.
Setup was a breeze and I have had zero issues with connectivity
Remote is decent, not great but not horrible.
Dvd and blu-ray look great.
CONS:
The claim of 120hz motion is a joke! This is a 60hz native display tv with software that brings it up to 120hz (apparently...) I did not find this out until I was watching Hard Knocks on HBO and a thrown ball was jumping and jagged as it sailed across the screen. I didn't know why until I went back to bestbuy and was talking to a salesperson and they told me why! Samsung doesn't have true 120hz motion rate on any tv under the $2000 price point! This was a major bummer! Now, that said, regular football and baseball look fine, it was just the show I guess.
Sometimes the sound drops out for half a second at random times. Not sure if this is because of the sound processor that I have selected or what but it's annoying
I can't stand the soap opera effect so I ended up turning auto motion plus completely off. Also I could not find a setting that actually made the motion juddering look anywhere near acceptable for my eyes. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but even with judder reduction turned all the way to 10 there was still a horrible "tracer" on simple things like players high fiving in a baseball game. I noticed a noticeable trail of hands as they high fived. Turned auto motion plus off, rewound the high five and no tracer effect visible. I am doing this now with it in auto, custom and off and the judder and motion jaggedness is nearly unbearable to me on either custom or auto. Major bummer. But set to "off" and I'm a pretty happy camper.
In summary:
After reading all of the negative and low star reviews I decided to buy the five year geek squad warranty. $200 over five years for piece of mind is worth it to me. If I had to pay full price for this tv I Would have returned it and spent the extra $400 on the sale price of the next level up (with true HDR and true 120hz) just because I was so disappointed to find out that the native motion blur of this tv is only 60hz. The true deciding factor for keeping this tv was the great sale price I bought it for. I can live with the tv only having 60hz native motion rate but I do feel deceived by the advertised 120hz claim.
Don't get me wrong, I am pretty happy with this tv. 4K and smart is an upgrade for me and I can't see how I could do without either now. If you can find this tv for $950 or below it is a must buy!

I was in need of a television for a new place I was moving into and had started researching and pricing for a couple of months. Was originally planning on a 65" but after looking at things in person was going to go with a 55". Was looking between a Sony, LG and Samsung. The Samsung was not priced so I pulled out the app to research, found the 60" priced $50 lower than the 55". Ordered on the spot and could not be happier. The picture is clear and watching live sports is life like. Remote is easy to move around the system and apps make using online features easy. Have been very happy with this purchase for over three months now, would buy again.

Wanted to upgrade the TV in our sitting room from a 1080P 50 inch to a 4K 55 or 60 inch and we saw this TV on sale the week before XMAS. The 60 inch was less than many 55 inch TVs that were not as good. The reviews are very good for this TV. Keep in mind this is a low end entry level 4K TV so it has some limitations. Two yeas ago we got a low end Samsung 50 inch 1080 for abou $150 less than we got this 4K 60 inch. This TV has 4K and HDR. The picture on the set is very good, although dialing in the colors is a bit tricky. Natural and Movie modes get you close, but again this is an entry level TV. I am not a fan of the new slim remote Samsung has gone to that basically is about 1.5 inches wide and has a few buttons on it. Even a Roku has more buttons ;-) . The built in apps are really decent and you can even add Plex to it. The wifi support is good and the processor is fast enough that the apps are responsive. For reference the built in apps are about as responsive as a Roku 3 which is very good. Using the built in app and looking at Netflix shows in 4K like Daredevil and Like Cage is impressive. The built in sound is decent as well so we can skip the sound bar since this is just a sitting room. The biggest probelm with this TV is that they use a VA panel which means once you get abotu 20 degrees or more off center the colors start to look a bit washed out. All and all this is a great purchase if you can get it on sale. We got it for $699. If I could have gotten even a 55 inch IPS based TV for around same price I would prefer that due to off center viewing, but for an entry TV that is not our primary TV this is an awesome value when on sale.

This TV is amazing! Besides being great for it's 4K capabilities, it enhances the cinematography of HD TV as well. The picture is great, the remote and menu interface are superior and the integration with the Xbox One and the Samsung 4K blu ray player allows 1 remote use for all. Simple, intuitive interface is a breeze to setup. Only wish I could get it to control the FIOS cable box. But certainly not a detractor.
