If it has a Bluetooth USB dongle make sure the headset is paired to the dongle first and then you can put it in one of the USB ports on the TV and you can switch between audio sources on the TV. If it doesn't have a dongle make sure you are close enough to the TV for it to see the device. I connected a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse that way and it works great. Hope this helps!
