“So is this a 120 volt or 220 volt? Description says 120 but someone else posted that it is a 220v. Trying to figure out what type of cord this dryer needs.”

Hi JL, We wish to clarify the voltage this Samsung dryer model needs as well as the recommended power cord. The power requirements of this dryer model are listed below. Voltage: 240V Frequency: 60Hz Ampere: 30 Amps It is recommended to use a power supply cord kit marked for use with a dryer that is U.L listed and rated at a minimum of 240 volts, 30-amperes with three No. 10 copper wire conductors terminated with closed-loop terminals, open-end spade lugs with turned-up ends, or with tinned leads. Do not reuse a power supply cord from an old dryer. The power cord electric supply wiring must be supported at the dryer cabinet by a suitable UL-listed strain relief. Leo
