Most K-12 public schools give students chromebooks equipped with special educational software that enables the school to control how the chromebook is used. The Samsung is a BETTER chromebook than most schools have, but it lacks the special software that schools use. It works fine for the internet and videos, but to do work sets designed by the school, the school's IT tech would need to install the school's software. If the school does not permit students to take their chromebooks home many students would enjoy having the Samsung at home. Even though it lacks the school's software, they can use Wikipedia and the internet, watch YouTube and send and receive email.
