As long as it is a micro sd card compatable then yes you can definitely use it for the Galaxy J3 being that the J series usually only offers low internal storage, good rule of thumb is if it is the same brand it will typically work, just remember that not all apps might be able to move over, go through each one at a time and always set pictures and music files to the SD card ;)
