A:Answer I am assuming you mean the S7? Yes, this charger is actually an older version, so it is meant for the S7, S8. There is a newer version for 2018, S9. The new S9s have a different connector than the S7, S8s. But since this is wireless, it works with both.
It is more difficult to get the phone to charge standing up, it does not always fully connect, so you may think it is charging, but it is not. We were told at the store that the reason could be our cases. I have an Otterbox & my husband has a much thinner case. The charger that lets you lay the phone on top of it is more reliable. I have stopped using this charger.
