It has a headphone jack.
Even tempered glass can break from 3 feet onto concrete. I'm using a hybrid case and have dropped it from over 3 feet without any issue. (I bought a tempered glass screen and camera lense protector, but haven't got them on yet.)

Yes headphone jack. Don't know about screen yet. Bought a case and it's fallen from kitchen counter with no issues.
