If the battery is only lasting eight hours you are in the same boat as many of us that purchased this first generation ring. The battery has a degradation issue and begins to deteriorate around the fifth and sixth month. Not working soon after that. If you have had the ring less than a year, contact Samsung pronto for an in-warranty replacement.

On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. To prevent damage to your device, avoid wearing other metal rings on the same or adjacent fingers, and remove the ring when handling heavy, hard, or abrasive objects. If you're experiencing less than optimal battery life on your device, please check out, "Galaxy Ring won't charge" and "How to charge the Galaxy Ring" to help resolve what you may be experiencing with your device. Let us know afterward if you would like further assistance by reaching out to Support at your leisure. Thank you for choosing Samsung! - Debra
