Q: QuestionIs it possible to order this phone without activating it at time of purchase?
Asked by HDNW.
- A:Answer Yes you can order it without activating it. When I purchased it they connected it to one of my lines when I ordered it but it was not activated. When it came in I chose to have it put on a different line. Usually they will need to return it and resell it to you to have it connect to the other line.

Q: QuestionCan the phone be unlocked by Carrier?
Asked by Flash.
This question was asked about the related product: Samsung - Galaxy S10 5G Enabled 256GB Crown - Silver (Verizon)
- A:Answer Supposedly, yes. Those who have paid off their contracts with one carrier can now request another carrier to unlock their phones. This is part of the new law called the Unlocking Consumer Choice and Wireless Competition Act signed while Obama was President. Phones older than 2015 might only be able to be unlocked by international carriers. My understanding is that this option covers newer iPhone, Android devices, Windows Phone, and BlackBerry, but bottom line, if I were you, I would click on the Best Buy chat window or call your carrier to be sure all is good with the model of your choice.
