“Right now I have a a Samsung galaxy S20 5g along with the smart watch.. if I purchase the ultra 23 Samsung, am I able to use the same smart watch by just updating watch to my new phone or would I have to purchase another smart watch?? Thank you”

You are able to use the same watch. I went from the S22 ultra to the S23 ultra. For some reason it did make me completely reset my watch. I dont know if this is normal or if i did something but it will connect to the new device.
