Yes the phone was new in box. S25 edge is heavily discounted due to poor sales and likely to be discontinued.

The difference in price, compared to the other S25's, is the difference in each phone's individual specifications. The S25 Ultra, for example, has a larger screen, more battery capacity, and a telephoto lens. The Edge, in its current configuration, is a new product released in 2025, and I do not see it disappearing in the near future. I had a Galaxy S9 Edge for approximately ten years, and I recently replaced it with the S25 Edge. The S25 Edge's specifications are nearly the same as the other S25 models, except for a few differences like what I mentioned above. The S25 Edge is a magnificent phone, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a phone in its price range.
