  • QuestionIt says there is no media card slot? Does that mean you can't add a memory SIMM card for extra storage? It also says there is no headphone jack? So you can only use bluetooth headset with it?

    Asked by PeteM.

    • Answer Hello PeteM, My answer is specific to the headphone jack part. Nearly all the new mobile phones being sold nowadays do not come with the 3.5mm jack any more. The USB-C charging port has become a sort of universal port nowadays (a) Charging (b) data transfer, and also (c) Audio output. To make it brief, you'll need to buy a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter (called a dongle too) in case you want to use headphones which have the 3.5mm connector. That is, if you do not want to go the Bluetooth way for audio. An additional benefit that this USB-C to 3.5mm dongle may have is, some makes come with a built-in DAC chip to enhance the Audio output. One such example is the Anker dongle in the attached pics. Also, the same dongle can be used with other devices that have USB-C only ports, such as laptops to listen to Audio. These DAC equipped dongles may typically cost under $15 or, even lesser if without the DAC chip. Hope that helps.
