“I already have an existing plan at Verizon, can I buy this phone for $1 and ship it to myself and have Verizon activate it in the store? Or will I have to change my already existing plan?”

I ordered this phone for $1 thru Best Buy and I have Verizon. I took it into Best Buy. They activated it and transferred my contacts, etc.
