Voice, text, data, phone (equipment), and additional insurance purchased from Verizon total $93.87 per month including Verizon access fee and NJ sales tax. After two years, when Samsung Galaxy S7 is paid for in full, the monthly cost will decline to $65.87, excluding a reduction in NJ State sales tax. However, because I have constant access to secure Wi-Fi, I have the smallest data program. For some illogical (Verizon) reason the store could not accept full payment for the phone. Verizon automatically factored the cost of the phone into the two-year contract, supposedly without interest. All of the service providers do this. However, I needed phone immediately and did not have time to pursue the issue with both the store and telephone service provider. Do select your provider based upon service, both quality and cost. For me the quality - specifically the clarity and small percentage of dropped calls in my target areas - was the prime inducement.
