AT&T no longer offers free or discounted phones with 2 year contract. You would have to do a 24 or 30 month installment plan now. Or you can buy an unlocked phone. Same price in the long run whether you pay all at once or break it down into monthly payments. Best deal is if you can get a promo for $ off. Like Best buy $200 off, the amount is amount is considered a down payment & remainder of balance is broken down 24-30 months.

You should check all At&t plans from different stores. I know for a while they had a buy one get one free deal. I hope you get what what you want! :)
