Can you place a simcard in this model? null

I'm asking about a SIM card, not an SD card. A SIM is for cell/data providers. SD is to expand memory.

This is wifi only. Does not take a sim card.

Yes. The tablet has 32GB internal memory but you can use up to a 512GB SD card. I just bought a 128GB card for mine.
