On the advertised Galaxy Watch FE, taking an ECG (EKG) is not automatic and still requires you to place your index finger on the top side button for 30 seconds. While the watch can detect irregular rhythms automatically, a formal, on-demand ECG measurement requires manual activation and skin contact with the button. Hope that helps!
