It has a standard camera mounting. Any holder that you can mount a normal camera on will hold the gear 360.

If you do hold it, you holding it will probably take like 180 degrees up of the picture. And you also dont need to hold your phone, this works with/without the phone, although connecting or sending the finished video to your phone to actually stich things (make the 360) alot easier than connecting to a pc to do the same. The difference between this and a go pro, is that a go pro records idk 100 degrees / whatever your facing it towards. This takes everything around the camera. You can just use one camera and take a 180 degree, which is considered extremely wide angle/fish eye, which i dont believe any other wearable camera can quiet capture that wide. As far as i know, the fly is the only other 360 camera (short of special ones that connect to the phone like moto mod/etc or the specialized cage from go pro that holds like 9 of them to create 360 degrees) This is by no means "professional" 360 camera/camcorder. But at $200, it is not trying to be. Those "professional" ones cost thousands and thousands, and require very powerful pc's and expensive software to create 360. This does it, well enough to be displayed on a phone, and for $200 its actually quite a steal if you need/want this capability.
