“Fairly specific question here, but what is the width of the base at its widest point? Looks to be a few inches narrower than the monitor itself. I'm planning to purchase and want to assure the stand I purchase for it is just wide enough to stably sit.”

From tip to tip on the widest point it’s 21 inches. It’s a very sturdy monitor and I have a narrow desk space so even if it wasn’t tucked in all the way the monitor is able to balance itself very well. I pulled out the monitor to help show how well it balances in its own. Hope this helps.

I own one of these and my desk space is pretty narrow and it’s able to balance well even if the monitor stand isn’t all the way in. Overall, it’s a very sturdy monitor.
