“How do you straighten the screen on the upright stand. When assembled it is tilted forward and downward. There is nothing on page 15 that addresses this. I don't want to have to return it but it is annoying.”

You cannot adjust the monitor. From the instructions it seems that Samsung expects the wide viewing angle to make adjustments unnecessary.
