“I have a 55" Samsung TV hanging on the wall in a 30'x40' multi-purpose room in a church. Will this speaker work well with 50 people in the room listening to something like a simul-cast? Does it have enough power/wattage?”

I would have to say no if you are trying to hear over fifty people. I enjoy the sound but the level does not get too high.
