“I own MS650. I plan to buy SWA-9000s rear speakers to fulfill surround effect. My preferred setting is always Smart Mode. Will 5.0 works to the rear speakers when I set the soundbar at smart Mode?”

With mine there seems to be little or no sound coming from rear speakers in SmartMode. Sounds best in surroundsound mode with HDMI and there’s no way to turn up the volume on the rear speakers . Also there seems to be no way to turn up the bass on the built in sub woofer on the sound bar , still had to purchase a separate sub wolfer to get adequate base and that seem to defeat the purpose of purchasing a sound bar with a built in sub wolfer and still no way to turn up the sub past Samsung‘s presets 1 -6 and it still does not have the deep bass as other brands do. Also the sound bar often turns off by itself when changing channels or changing from Netflix back to TV. Not impressed with Samsungs audio devices and disappointed with there TV’s it will not record live broadcast Like LG’s
