You can add wireless speakers and a sub-woofer using the Samsung Multiroom app to create a surround sound experience. I cannot say if the Samsung wireless sub-woofer you currently own is compatible, but I would be surprised if is not.

Please try again later.This is compatible with the multiroom app. This sound bar version does not have a subwoofer pair YET unlike the past other samsung bar/sub woofer combo. If I was to guess, try downloading the samsung multiroom app and see if it works with your subwoofer.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I have heard that the sound can get muted. I think this is due to driver issues which can be corrected it connected to an ALL Samsung units. Samsung smart TV, sound bar etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you happen to have an older version with seperate subwoifer you can try to choose wifi option on your new hi res sounbar and press the small buttom on the back of the subwoofer and see if the blue led blink and turns solid means it's connected.
