A:AnswerSideways could work except the IR remote would not work and it might be hard to load a disc. A" IR repeater" would solve the remote problem. Flat against the wall would at the very least have remote issues and I am not sure the disc would load and play properly as well. Sorry about that.
A:AnswerTry changing the size of the picture on the tv itself instead of adjust the output of the dvd player.
Plus, some tv remotes have a picture size button for quick changes.

A:AnswerDepends on how your audio is connected I would think. My SONOS system has a setting for audio delay. Im sure other vendors do as well. Have you tried tweaking that to get them in sync?
A:Answerit has an hdmi input so yes you can hook up via your receiver. also, it is preloaded with apps, you have to see product description to see which ones.
