• yes, it even comes with a USB3.0 cord. speed will be determined by your computer port's transfer rate.

• Bob, the ports speeds between 3.0 vs 3.1 is 2X. So speeds will always be dependent on the port and the processor speeds of the device it's plugged into. The max read/write speeds of the Samsung T7 are 1,050/1,000MB/s, respectively. Hope this helps
