There are two possibilities: 1. Are you running HDMI thru an A/V receiver? If so, the receiver needs to be HDCP 2.2 compliant, and if you purchased it prior to this year, it probably does not. The work around is to use the 2nd HDMI output on the player to the A/V receiver and the first output to an HDCP 2.2 compliant input on the TV. 2. Your TV is an older 4k model made before the HDCP 2.2 standard was completed. Unfortunately, there is no workaround for this issue, and everything will be output at 1080p or less.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. What TV model are you using? 4K services require that your HDMI input be connected to an HDCP 2.2 compatible HDMI port. Depending on your year and model it could be associated to a single HDMI port on your TV.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The streaming apps on the blu ray player are not yet capable of supporting 4K. Word is they will be included in the next firmware update. It's not your cables or anything else. If you have a TV that supports this equipment, you probably have access to the 4K apps through the TV. The good news is when the apps are out you'll get access to uncompressed audio as well as video. Lack of even Dolby 5.1 on the TV apps is disappointing. I streaming truly is the future, which it is, they need to improve the audio capabilities.
