It should work no problem, as the Denon x7200wa is HDCP 2.2 compliant. If it continues to not work, I would call Denon and inquire about it. I have heard a few problems with the Samsung UBD-K8500 not recognizing the 4k sources, it could be that as well and a firmware update should be on its way.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately, the HDR element is not something that a firmware upgrade can fix. While your receiver should be able to process 4K (?), HDR is a newer technology and not back-compatible. However, the 'good news'-- that you are likely aware of--is that the player offers two HDMI outputs, meaning that you can bypass the receiver for the video signal but still use it for audio output. So, at least you can still get half the benefit from your receiver.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your receiver needs to be able to support HDMI 2.0a for HDR passthrough. Some manufacturers such as Pioneer added support via a firmware upgrade. Depends on the chipset being used in the receiver so may or may not be possible. Might want to check on a site like avsforums. More importantly if you are not getting any signal at all then your receiver probably doesn't support HDCP 2.2 (this capability cannot be enabled via a firmware upgrade).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The unit has two HDMI outputs, one to the TV for video, the other to your receiver if it is not 2.2 compliant.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your TV has an optical output and your receiver has an optical input it will sound great. The volume will be then adjusted for your TV through your receiver then. If your using HDMI cable you will need a 4k HDMI cable. The cheaper the cable will affect sound and picture. A great HDMI cable will cost around $100.
