Is this good for long term storage? 2-3 years? null

Yes I've been using my SANDISK flash drives for years and works fine. I always use eject button on the computer first for the computer to allow it to eject. It's safer that way.

Yes, this is good for backup of thing for years to come, like taxes. as long as you remember to use the PDF form. If you backup a report in a program version, you need to load the program before you can access you file, so just make sure if it is a file you are backing up, back it up in two ways

I do not see why not, as long as it is stored in a dry cool place.

I've had mine for two years now. Everything is still perfect. Works just fine still.

I have been using ( regular use for pictures and flat files ) 4 of these for several years, no issues.
