• Yes you can. I have a 32GB filled with music for my car. Should work for you bro. Music quality is better than Bluetooth signal as well and no more CD's all over your car/truck.

• I haven't done this, but you should be able to do so if you have played music from your USB port in your vehicle before. It's worth a try and won't do any damage to check it out.

• You can put any file from your device that supports USB directly on this flash drive. Your 2017 Chevy compatibility is unknown to me. Just plug it in and if it decodes the MP3 file correctly, then it might play. Otherwise, go visit with your Chevy dealer. My 2017 Santa Fe plays them with no problem.
