Sandisk ended U3 platform in 2009 https://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5358/~/u3-launchpad-end-of-life-notice
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not encountered that issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.U3 has to do with the Speed Class of the drive, it's mostly a concern when recording video. Here's a link to the page I found that describes it in more detail if anyone's interested, but if you're not recording video it 's really not a concern. https://www.sdcard.org/developers/overview/speed_class/
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This flash drive can be used with either USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 products, however it only performs at a USB 2.0 level and does not have the speed improvement of 3.0 in it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I copied from another sandisk drive to this one and it worked.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.this drive CLEARLY STATES ....... USB " TWO "
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As I understand it, the flash drive will fit into a U3 port but is still a U2 drive.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased this flash drive and saw the 'U3 Enabled' in the advertisement. This appears to be incorrect as 'U3' is NOT indicated on the body of the flash drive. If the 'U3 Capability' is not indicated right on the body or case, U3 will not install.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.U3 Technology is at End Of Life and SanDisk began phasing out support for U3 Technology in late 2009. U3 was originally developed to enable downloading portable applications to run from flash drives without installing on a computer. The U3 applications are no longer available to download. There is currently no SanDisk flash drive in production with U3 on it however we do have some models in stock which supports U3.
