• avi and mpg.4 movie files work fine using SanDisk USB 2.0 flashdrive on my PS3, not sure about playing Quicktime as I haven't tried that format

• Dont. know about ipod touch..but it does work for the ps3...ps3 only reads mp4 files for movies.

• It is PS3 compatible as long as you format it to a FAT32 format required for the PS3 to recognize it

• It should be. As far as I know, there aren't any limitations as long as it's USB2.0 (or 3.0, as that's backwards compatible), which this is. I use it on my Wii U.

• Yes, you can use it to transfer movies onto the PS3. You can't use it with your iPod though, iPod's have to connect to your computer's USB port.
