Yes you can. When you put the usb drive in your computer it will ask you if you want to format the drive, just say yes. After the drive is formatted you can now transfer you files to the drive.
Open the drive up then create a folder for your files, then transfer your files from your computer to the usb drive.

As long as each computer has a USB 2.0 or better port, you can copy files from one computer to the USB drive and then from the USB drive (memory stick) to the other computer.
