does it work with samsung blu ray players? i've used a 4 gb sandisk flash drive with my blu ray player for about six months now. in fact i used it so much i bought the 32 gb flash drive. However when i plug it in it doesn't even show the device. is it just not compatible or is there something i can do?

Yes it works sometimes you have to put it in the usb a couple of times until it recognizes it other than that it works fine would recommend .

More than likely yes it is not compatible usually, you can update the software on your Blu-ray or it cannot handle 32gb you would have to refer to the manual.

Blu Ray player may take a smaller size.
my MP3 player can only handle up to a 32GB, if I use a larger size, it won't work.
try to find out what is the maximum size flash drive you can use with your make/model Blu Ray player.

Try seeing the files you downloaded... Depending on what file you downloaded not all files are viewed by blue ray players

It is likely an issue with the BluRay player not being able to recognize the device because of its capacity. Older players especially will detect a peak size of 16gb

Your blu-ray player is the issue. Depending on how old it is, it probably has a capability issue with flash drives of large capabilities, I'd try a 16gb and see if you have the same problem. You might be able to find something in your blu-ray player specs too.
