“Does it work in a cell phone”

• I purchased a short little cable that plugged into the phone on one end and into the flashdrive on the other end. That enabled me to transfer photos and videos directly onto the flashdrive from my cell phone. The little cable is by Samsung. I can't remember what it was called, but the Samsung guy should be able to show it to you. I happen to have a Samsung Galaxy S6, but I believe that the cable would work with any phone with a micro jack.

• no, it needs a usb port to plug into. your cell phone does not have that port.

• It will not work "IN" a cell phone. Your cell phone has to have an adapter that will accept a standard USB connector. Otherwise, youre looking for a micro-sd card.

• I think you're thinking of a Micro SD card such as the one I added below, which is used in many cell phones. As far as connecting it to a cell phone, this drive has a standard USB interface, which will not connect directly to a cell phone. You would need a cable to go from standard USB to Micro USB or to the specific iPhone port your phone has.
