if you would like to know exactly, contact the manufacture. It's not too fast because it's USB 2. And also it's a cheap device. But it does a good job. For a higher speed you need USB3 Or not satisfied yet? Get the SSD for much more $$$

Your flash drive and your laptop or computer port must both be USB 3.0 to obtain the higher speeds. Older USB 2.0 flash drives will still work in a USB 3.0 port but at the lower 2.0 transfer rate. Likewise using a USB 3.0 flash drive in a 2.0 port will work but will not get you 3.0 transfer speeds either.
