Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The device itself uses USB to connect. Your cell phone does not have that type of connection. If you can email your pics and videos to a computer then yes, you can store many many videos and pics on this device.

If so, no (unless you have an adapter to allow connecting a USB drive to your phone; you didn't mention what type of phone and what type of connector it has, Micro USB or USB-C, so I can't offer any advice there). If you connect your phone to your computer, you should be able to also connect the USB drive to your computer and transfer files from the phone to the USB drive that way for backup.
